The flexibility of this rig is next level! It can't be said enough how refreshing it is to finally have a modular hunting rig I can set up exactly the way I want, just like a high end tactical rig! Top shelf materials, top shelf construction, and top shelf personalities when I went to the shop. Great people making great products where it is obvious they know their s@#t, and care about quality! Five stars isn't enough!
Extremely well thought out system, and built to be bomb proof. Can’t wait for use this come dove and quail season in a few months. In the mean time, perfect for the clay range to hold my shells! In store pick up was a breeze, Hannah and Jimmy made sure of that!
Love to hear this!! Thanks Nick!
I love this system, Carrie’s weight very well. I was skeptical since it has no frame like a normal pack, I was not let down.
The Good: - High quality like all Marsupial gear & a perfect balance between rugged and lightweight - Very comfortable: easy adjustability makes it easy to balance the weight between hips and shoulders (mostly on hips), even as you go from an empty to full bird bag - I was really worried about the shoulder straps being too thick, but the inward curve design keeps them out of the way when shouldering your gun. I still think they have unnecessary padding in those straps (what good does padding do on the front of a strap?), but they are functional and comfortable. - The large bird bag carries a limit of pheasants easily. The Bad: Hip belt is too wide and doesn't breathe well. It didn't bother me on a December pheasant hunt, but it did bother me a bit on a September Sage grouse hunt. The ****: Who thought zippered shell pockets was a good idea? That **** may work for doves but not for Idaho chukar or pheasants. Either shells fall out when you stumble, or you can't get to them fast enough because it's zipped up. @Marsupial, please build some magnetic pockets, based off your bino case design... and offer an exchange? ;-)
