Great idea. Not many people run this. Our midlands fit no problem and the mesh allows you to hear while hiking. We use them shed hunting a lot.
I bought this for my inReach Explorer+ and it fits perfectly. It slides in and out easily with the Garmin belt clip attachment removed, a little snug but doable with the belt clip still on the device. Love the criss-cross bungee straps to keep it strapped in safely. I have the enclosed bino harness and it attaches seamlessly as shown on the website videos. It has no wiggle/bounce/dump out when I hike and bend over. I don't even notice it - like it was always part of the system. I also have a bear spray attachment on the bottom of the bino harness and it does not interfere with that at all. When I first got it in the mail the pull tabs on the bungee cords were missing. I called Marsupial and talked to customer service. I sent in a picture and they immediately emailed me back and gave me multiple options to fix it. They had those tabs in the mail to me the same day and they were super easy to put on. I know having zero issues is always the goal, but nice to know they were super helpful, responsive, and jumped through hoops to make it right when there was an issue. Couldn't be happier with the Marsupial company and products and to finally have a secure place to carry the Garmin!
I contacted Marsupial HQ to figure out what I needed to carry my InReach explorer on my chest rig. They recommended this pouch and it fits the InReach perfectly. If I could give it 6 stars I would!
Best gear around by far.
The Marsupial Gear small radio pouch is a great design. I purchased it for a GPS unit, and it turns out my unit fits a little too snug in the small pouch, but this is still an awesome pouch that I will use for a 2-way radio instead now.
