Great case, solid handles and glad I purchased it.
Beautifully designed and made, I carry my high dollar optics in my back with great comfort knowing how well they are protected!
...it should come with a generic shoulder strap at least - sure, pay more to upgrade for the padded one. As said before, it's not for getting rough with it - get a pelican or similar hard case for that level of protection. It's more than enough to protect from dust and sharp rocks when putting it down on the ground, or carrying it around to viewing locations - even inside a backpack. Also, would have been nice if had a small pocket inside or out, just enough for a small tools or lens caps Because of those two small notes, I only give it a four; otherwise it would be a 6 star :). yes, recommended, and like it enough to come back for another similar case
This case works as advertised. It won't save your scope from much of a drop, but it offers a bit of protection. It is nicely made with good craftsmanship. The zippers are beefy and the dual opening is handy. Marsupial went above and beyond on the carry handles, they are robust and have some sticky rubber built-in, so they give you a nice grip. When I bought mine Marsupial only made the BTX95 case, but I owned the BTX85. It worked just fine for the 85, with a bit of extra space as you would expect. My scope is upgraded now to the BTX85 with the 1.7x booster and the Outdoorsman balance rail, and it fits nicely in the BTX95 case.
