On April 1st, we did a “not so” April Fools’ joke—we released 25 limited-edition “Ugly” packs. They were a mishmash of colored panels in our Enclosed binocular pack.
No two were alike.
The twenty-five packs sold out in seconds.
Every penny from those sales went straight to Fathers in the Field, a program that helps fatherless boys get out and experience the outdoors with mentor fathers.
Thanks to your support, we were able to equip these boys with the gear they needed, including a shotgun and a rifle for Elijah, to set them up for many hunts to come!
They partnered with Arizona Quail Today for a special three-day quail camp, where over 100 Georgia Bobwhites were planted in the field for the dogs to work and the boys to shoot. They had an absolute blast.
The hunt was more than just a day in the field—it was about building connections and creating memories that these boys will carry with them forever.
We can’t thank you enough for jumping in and making this happen. You’ve genuinely made a difference in their lives.
Kamden
Kamden has been with his mentor father since early January 2022. When we asked him about his favorite part of the program, he said “Going hunting and fishing!” He’s got a soft spot for hunting squirrels and quail, practicing archery, and hitting the range for some clay pigeon shooting.
His dream hunt?
“Elk hunting and bringing home an elk to show my mom, and then Phil and I can cook it up. I also want to go deer and quail hunting more!”
Elijah
Elijah has been with his mentor father for nearly three years now. His favorite memory? “Going to South Dakota, hunting and bonding with my mentor father and others.” He loves shooting quail and pheasant and spending time skeet shooting with Todd.
When we asked him about a dream hunt, Elijah didn’t hesitate: “Getting a tag for a trophy deer, elk, or black pheasant and heading back to South Dakota someday!”
Thanks again to everyone who helped make this happen. Your support has truly brought joy and adventure into these young lives.
