Would you like to contribute to Marsupial Gear, and earn Marsupial dollars for your efforts?

We're looking for guys and gals that can tell a great hunting story or teach our community valuable skills to be better in the woods. Think you've got something that an audience of some 70,000 fellow sportsmen would love to read? Then we want to hear from you.

Here's how it works.

Use the form below to submit your article. If we accept it for publication on marsupialgear.com and/or our newsletter we'll follow up with an email asking you for photos and/or videos that support the article.

As soon as it's published, we'll issue you an exclusive $75 Marsupial Gear Contributor Gift Card to use at marsupialgear.com and will give you all credit for your work.

So what are we looking for specifically?

  1. Complete articles. If you have an idea for an article, that's great. Talk to us when it's done.
  2. Your article should be well written. Run it through a grammar and spell checker like Grammarly before submitting it. We will automatically reject any article with egregious writing errors. At the same time, we're not looking for collegiate perfection. We like casual, spoken language. Just don't make us guess what you're trying to say.
  3. Your article should be compelling. If you tell a hunting story, include what made the hunt significant. If you're explaining a hunting or outdoor skill that's good for everyone to know, have easily digestible steps. We like articles titled "5 Steps To A Better Fall Season," or something similar.
  4. We may have questions or suggestions that make your work more suitable for our community. Don't be offended if we ask for more or ask you to make small changes. We're trying to do right by the readers. Nothing more, nothing less.
  5. How many words should it be? If your article is 300 words and conveys the point, great. If it takes 3,000, that's good too. We don't care how many words it is, as long as the article is interesting and complete.
