Utilizing state of the art fabrics and features, the Enclosed Binocular Pack offers the same one-handed operation that Marsupial Gear is known for. This new pack uses our trademark front folding magnetic lid design, but adds another layer of protection. Taller sidewalls and overlapping wings, fully seal and protect your binoculars from the elements. MOLLE webbing has been added to the bottom of the pack for additional accessory attachment points. Durable stretch fabric allows you to carry more in the front and side pockets. Our modular design allows you to customize your chest pack with interchangeable accessories on both sides of the pack. For those of you who like a more sealed system, this is the pack for you.

CanadaAwesome bino pack, fits the Santiams as per your sizing chart, closure system is second to none! So I'll give it a 6/5 and take back 1/2 point each for a couple of minor things. First, the tethers. To my taste they don't shorten enough for those of us that like the pack to ride fairly high, so there's probably 4+ inches of slack and they have the potential to catch on branches and such. They are also the low point in aesthetics of the pack with the plain black nylon. Something elastic/extendable like your rangefinder tethers would bring this pack up another notch and close to the realm of perfect. Second, I will say that as a big guy the side straps of the standard harness are on the short side. 4 more inches of adjustability in the standard pack wouldn't hurt anyone, it's just one more loop of strap under the elastic for smaller people. Alternatively, have a selection in the check-out to purchase the extender kit if the buyer is above 250lbs or so. Or perhaps ditch the extender kit and offer a regular and large version of the harness. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't know about the issue until I received the pack. So perhaps more of a marketing or communication thing. You have a great pack here and I'm a customer for life already, so please take this as constructive criticism. I have since purchased a spotting scope cover and plan to be back for more.
