Just back from a two week hunt using this case. It did a great job of protecting my BTX/95, and made transporting it easy. The issue is that I use the Outdoorsmans BTX Rail and you have to take the rail on and off every time you use the case (which also means you have to carry the 7/32 Hex Key with you - which of course i managed to loose). It would be great (much appreciated) if Marsupial could build a version of the case that could accommodate the rail (as i figure vast majority of people are going to be using a rail with this setup). Also, if there was a "pouch" on the case to hold the Hex Key for example, that would be convenient.
I buy the 115 for my 95 btx. He fits with the extender. The molle attachement are vers good to grab it on a back pack. Perfect match for transport the btx everywhere. I have an issue with the rail. I buy the big one to keep the rail on it, but the original BR plate is to big. Is it work witch aftermarket balance rails? Greats from Switzerland guys
I chose this bag/case among the few available on the market, it's exactly how I would have wanted it, both in terms of shape and fabrics. I chose this larger one for my current 95 ATX angled eyepiece objective module, as I hope to switch to the 115 module with the BTX soon. Unfortunately with the tripod support plate it does not fit. I ask if it will fit the 115 BTX with its "Swarovski field case" mounted over the objective and eyepiece, which is very thin and dry.
Hey Gianni, Shoot us an email at sales@marsupialgear.com with a photo of your plate!
More than happy, i read this was a tight fit but i feel its perfect. I love the internal padding on the inside its better than the others ive seen. When you spend thousands of dollars on glass this is surely your answer to keep it protected.
Thanks Blaine!
I like the material , I like the zipper but you have to take your tripod plate off to get it to fit easy , barely fits with the small outdoors men’s tripod plate .
Hey Eric! Shoot us an email at sales@marsupialgear.com so we can take a look at your case! Do you have a neoprene case on your BTX?
