    Simple great harness

I purchased this simple harness to replace the one on my AGC bino pack. Works great and rides higher on my chest which I like. Great job.

    Not for wide shoulders

Word of caution to anyone with fairly wide shoulders/trap muscles. For me when wearing with a gun holster attached to the Bino pouch, no matter how I adjust the harness, the weight of my binos and handgun combined (vortex10x42 & kimber 4”1911) cause this harness to slide down my chest and dig the shoulder straps in to my trap muscles causing very annoying neck strain/pain. For me the shoulder straps need to be wider For this reason and I will be attaching my Bino pouch directly to my backpack from now on.

    Better Design

This harness is to me far superior to to other brands for several reasons; its lighter weight, super strong, vastly more simple, and has a much broader range of adjustment, which in turn makes it more comfortable to wear than those harness' with a large back support/body, at least for larger and heavier binoculars like my Geovids. I had purchased a different brand of binocular pack and found that it could not be adjusted in a manner to keep the 'body' of the harness from riding up on to my shoulder blades and restricting my breathing. Fortunately, this harness perfectly matched, so it was a direct replacement and I am able to comfortably use the pack now, though I still prefer the design and construction of the Marsupial. Another feature that I really like is it having the versatility of two safety tethers; both can be used for the binos, or one for the binos and the other for a rangefinder or other device. Price, material, construction: nothing better!

    harness straps

I am very pleased with my binocular chest harness with one exception, the straps. It can be quite difficult to attach the lower buckles without having them twisted. Unlike the majority of the other common brands (Sitka, Badlands, Mystery Ranch.....), the back portion of the straps has no "body". It is simply the straps joined together. Other brands are much easier to don and doff because the portion that sits at the center of the back is designed better. I find myself attempting to reach all the way back to the intersection of the strap system in order to pull the bottom straps out for attachment without a twist or two in them. This is not easy when wearing bulky clothing for late season hunts. I have owned nearly all your competitors' binocular systems and find yours to be my absolute favorite for many reasons with the exception of your straps....
